Salads

Spring has arrived and so have some of the new salads I will be offering.  I like to use only the freshest ingredients so I will be adding to this list as more fruits and vegetables arrive in season.  Check out the What's Cooking This Week to see which of these yummy salads I have on the go.

CURRIED CHICKEN SALAD 

Chunks of chicken, apple, grape, celery and onion are mixed together with a medium spiced curried mayo.

CHICKPEA SALAD (V) (GF)

So fresh and tasty.  Chickpeas, peppers, onions and celery are combined in a lemon dill vinaigrette.

ASIAN SPINACH SALAD (V)

Baby spinach, mushrooms, water chestnuts, sugar snap peas, red onion, bean sprouts and sesame seeds are tossed with a soy dressing.

INSALATA CAPRESE  (V) 

Bocconcini cheese, tomato, basil, onion and avocado served over a bed of mixed greens and finished with a fig balsamic vinaigrette.

THE SECRET GARDEN SPRING MIX (V)

White Balsamic vinaigrette drizzled over mixed greens, red onion, goat cheese and seasonal berries.

ASIAN NOODLE SALAD

Order it plain or with all the veggie fixins' --It's great either way and tastes even better the next day. 

P S I LOVE YOU SALAD (V) 

Pasta, pine nuts, peas and spinach are tossed with pesto and finished with parmesan and pepper.

THAI MANGO SALAD (V) (GF)

Green mango's are marinated in a chili, lime and cilantro vinaigrette.  This tart, spicy salad is served over a bed of mixed greens and finished with red pepper, cucumber, red onion and cashew.
